SBI Clerk 2019 – State Bank of India (SBI) will begin SBI Clerk 2019 recruitment process in April (tentatively) for appointment of approximately 20,000 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre posts. The SBI Clerk 2019 will be a computer based test conducted in two phases – Preliminary and Mains. The tentative schedule for SBI Clerk 2019 preliminary exam is May. Educational qualification:

  • For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government
  • For Junior Agricultural Associates: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognised university/Institute
  • Knowledge of official and local language: Candidates have to produce class 10th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied official (local) language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others, language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in official and local language would be disqualified
  • Candidates should be able to write and speak English
  • Candidates who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply for SBI Clerk 2019. But they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination at the time of document verification for joining
  • Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD as per the prescribed dates
  • Candidates should be able to write and speak English

Note: 

  • The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute
  • In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing

Marking Scheme – The marking scheme of SBI Clerk 2019 preliminary and mains exam is same. For each correct response candidates will score 1 mark and for each incorrect response 0.25 (1/4) will be deducted. No marks will be allotted for unmarked response

Step 1 – Filling up Basic Information – Name and contact details

Photograph Specification:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture
  • The picture should be in colour, taken against a light coloured, preferably white background
  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of the file should be between 20kb – 50kb
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no of colours etc. during the process of scanning

Signature Specification

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink Pen
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person
  • If the applicant’s signature on the answer script at the time of the examination does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet/ Hall Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.
  • Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of the file should be between 10kb – 20kb
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb

Step 3 – Filling up Post Applied, Education Qualification, and Language Choice

Basic Detail: At this stage of SBI Clerk Application Form 2019 candidates have to select the post applied either ‘Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)’ or ‘Junior Agricultural Associates’.  They also have to select state and circle for which they are applying. Candidates have to select their category from which they belong and information related to official language and its marks secured in standard 10th.

Upon filling up all the required detail they have to sign the declaration form by clicking on the ‘I Agree’ box.

In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), their candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after appointment, their services are liable to be terminated.

Step 5 – Fee Payment

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by following information. The application fee of SBI Clerk 2019 is given below:

On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with the date entered by the candidate will be generated & which should be printed. Important Instruction for SBI Clerk 2019 admit card

Particulars to be noted in SBI clerk admit card 2019: Candidates are advised to carefully verify their roll number, date of exam, time and venue for the examination as given in the call letter.

SBI Clerk 2019 Call letter and identity proof:  Candidates have to bring the downloaded SBI Clerk 2019 admit card along with the photo identity proof in original and a photocopy  to the venue for the examination. If they do not bring call letter and photo identity proof in original they will not be permitted to appear for the examination. The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as passport/Adhar/PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof.

Submit SBI Clerk 2019 Call Letter: Candidates are required to put their left thumb impression and sign clearly in the respective spaces provided on their call letter in the presence of the invigilator in the examination hall. Candidates should hand over their SBI Clerk 2019 admit card/call letter along with the photocopy of identity proof duly stapled together to the invigilator in the examination hall, when he collects the call letters from the candidates

Biometric Data: Left thumb impression will be captured at the examination venue. Any failure to these points will result in non-admittance for the examination. Therefore candidates are advised to note down following points.

  • If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured, etc.), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
  • If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
  • Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them.
  • If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured or damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the test centre

Use of Stationery: Candidates must bring a ball point pen with them at the time of examination

Rough work to be done on the sheet provided: Candidates should do all the necessary rough work on sheet provided only. After the test is over, they should hand over the sheet, given for rough work to the invigilator before leaving the room
